Lydia, Vinyasa Yoga Teacher

Lydia discovered yoga in Bali in 2017 and signed up to her first yoga class,  anticipating that it would enhance her active lifestyle, which included distance running. After settling in Australia, Lydia found a yoga studio and discovered that yoga enabled her to express herself by finding creativity in movement way beyond her expectations.

In 2019, she travelled to Rishikesh in India, the spiritual home of yoga, to complete a 200 hour Vinyasa & Ashtanga teacher training course. Since then she has completed further training in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra & Mindfulness. In addition, in 2022, Lydia completed a further 300 hour teacher training, this time in Nepal.

Lydia always aims to inspire her students with dynamic, creative & playful sequences that demonstrate her love for music and words, providing her students with the best experience to allow them to go away from her classes feeling a little lighter with an enhanced self-connection.

Joseph, Vinyasa Flow Teacher

Joseph’s journey into yoga began in 2010 whilst training as a contemporary dancer. The yoga mat became his sanctuary. Joseph realised that dance was a stepping stone to becoming a yoga teacher, and since 2018 this has been his main focus in life.

Joseph’s yoga classes have an emphasis on the desire to move, to feel and to be free. He wants to create an environment where people can take little bites of bravery. Joseph strives to hold a space for everybody to cultivate the patience to persist, to believe in themselves and to be tenderly fierce.

As well as teaching yoga, dance and other physical disciplines, Joseph is also an Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Therapist. This massage is perfect for “ironing things out” and the main focus is on deep tissue, pressure points and long pressured strokes.
